Install nexenta onto dell 2950?

Hi All-

Looks like normal solaris can be installed onto a Dell 2950, with the
aid of a "driver update cd"

Nexenta on the other hand does not have a prompt for a driver update cd,
nor does it have an obvious way to load extra drivers during setup.

Could someone please point me in the correct direction? Is the process
similar to a linux system where I need to drop to root, modprobe a
module and also make sure the module makes it into the system's initrd?
I'm very new to solaris :)

Thanks!

The process will be similar in spirit but the details will be pretty
different. You can get to a console via F2 in the Nexenta installer in
order to manually load drivers and such. The Nexenta installer requires
the CD to stay in the drive AFAIK so there might be a bit of an issue
with putting in another CD. This may be a good reason to make a
thumbdrive installer though :)
