Hello
I am so new! I'm not a developer, just someone with an interest in learning things new to me. Installed NexentaCore 2.0 Beta1 on my old box, P4 2.4/533 intel board. I used nano to edit the /etc/apt/sources.list file, to add "deb http://www.nexenta.org/apt-gnusolaris elatte-unstable main contrib non-free" (without quotes) ran apt-get update, then ran apt-get install gnome.
I came up with unmet dependancies. is there a newer repository that I should be accessing? do I need to change "elatte" to "hardy" to match the deb-src line?

any assistance would be much appreciated

thanks
Hi robert,

You no longer need the older repositories for gnome, etc. The newer
repository has xorg and gnome-core and xfce4 for your gui needs.

explains how you can get started,
